What an amazing program. When I got the program off my MacAddict Disc, I thought "Hmmm, another notation program that says that it is the best." So I accepted the challenge and might I say as a user of Finale since 1996, you have a new convert. I have only just scratched the surface of this amazing program and everything that I can think to want to do, you have already included.
    And what is up with the humanization of this product. A program that knows unplayable chords, and arpeggiates automatically!!! This alone is worth every penny!!!
    The music looks fabulous, rivaling Finale in every way. And global editing is something just to die for as an engraver when I change a part and forget to update the score.
    You are doing a great job and I will never.... ever.... buy another engraving program or upgrade again as long as you keep releasing this AMAZING product. If you ever need any help (which it is obvious that you dont), I am a willing subject. Thank you!!! Cant wait for 1.3!!!

...I'm telling everyone I can about Igor. I haven't seen a programme this exciting for years - it will take over the world, I'm convinced of it. The concepts behind it are so "right" that it leaves every competitor in the dust. Even Sibelius, which is pretty good, will be left in the dust.
         I'm an expert Finale user, and while the programme can do pretty much everything I need, it's such a pain to do it, and forget about MIDI playback... I love the way Igor is set up - it's almost like the old days with pen and paper, but with instant and realistic playback. I'm really looking forward to Igor 2.0 when I can say goodbye to Finale for ever.

...First of all congratulations with your engraver. It does meet the expectations. The default output is far better than any other application, even after tweaking. I'm telling this both as a musician and as a software engineer in the printing business.

...Overall I am EXTREMELY satisfied with Igor, and I really appreciate Noteheads' marketing strategy (because for its price, Finale is not much of a bargain, even with the student discount) as well as its committment to developer/customer interaction. If only Microsoft ran the same way... Way to go, Noteheads! :-)

...I just wanted you to know how grateful I am for this AWESOME program. I was able to try it out on Mac (I have a Windows PC) and its soooo great compared to anything I've tried (Finale, Cakewalk Overture, Encore). My mom is mad at me though because I've spent so much wasted money on the others when you guys had this wonderful product that seems like it came in a dream or something. ...Igor is an amazing program for the arrangment of vocal scores and boasts a feature set that caused me to get rid of my old copy of Encore. I'm definitely looking forward to version 2.0 and beyond.

...I have just downloaded IGOR, looks a great software, I am impressed, Logic Audio has a lot to learn from IGOR. (I have used Logic for many years)

...I do find the system for inputting music in Igor the easiest and quickest of any I have tried.

...By the way, the patch system is great. I have other programs with automatic updates, but you often have to double-click the downloaded patch in order to install it. Igor places it automatically in the right folder for you, so you can just sit back and relax. Cool...
