Instrument names
As you can see in the image to the left, Igor can write instrument names vertically and rotated.

As a matter of fact, you don't need to do anything at all to create the instrument setup to the left: the instrument (in this case a two-staff female choir consisting of Sopranos and Altos) knows how it wants be presented in the score. All you do is select it in the Instrument Library and drag it to your Piece Window.

This includes aspects such as the number of staves, staff titles in six languages (full and abbreviated), clefs for transposing scores/C scores/parts, clef change ranges, groupings and subgroupings (brackets and braces spanning between different staves) and also instrument titles and their orientation, in this case vertical orientation.

Of course, everything is editable on the screen, and you can change the properties of all staves and instruments if you prefer things to be presented in a different fashion. Furthermore you only need to do this once, in the Instrument Library. Your preferences will be remembered and used in all new scores and parts.
